Czech Army M60 Canteen - MILITARY SURPLUS
A piece of Czechoslovakian military gear no soldier would go without, the M60 canteen and felt wool cover! This Cold War era canteen has a vintage look though it was practical enough to be used from the '60's up to the 90's and manufacturing dates vary inside this time frame. Regardless of age, these little fellas have seen some trouble! Our latest batch has dings and indents to the metal canteen but when the woolen cover is on, it's hardly noticeable. Just a bit of battle damage - it's still good, it's still good!
These later M60 iterations have a plastic pull-off cap as opposed to the cork. Constructed from aluminium, the canteen will hold just under a liter of water. It sits in a felted wool pouch which regulates the temperature of the contents. This pouch is then wrapped with the leather strapping which can be attached to a belt. Carry your water with a vintage military style or add this unique-looking piece to a collection.
