The Helle Temagami is a Scandinavian wilderness knife developed in collaboration with Canadian survival expert Les Stroud. First introduced in 2011, it was designed as a practical bushcraft knife capable of handling extended outdoor use. Its drop point blade uses triple laminated stainless steel, while the semi-full-tang construction provides additional strength and leaves the tang exposed along the spine and pommel. The curly birch handle is shaped for control in several grip positions, with a modest finger guard helping keep the hand away from the cutting edge.

About the Triple Laminated Stainless Steel
The Temagami uses Helle's triple laminated stainless steel construction. Helle describes this laminated blade as combining different steel characteristics to provide edge-holding capability, toughness and ease of sharpening. The construction is particularly suited to Helle's traditional outdoor knives, where a balance of cutting performance and durability is important. Unlike the later limited-edition Temagami 14C28N, the standard Temagami specified here uses Helle's triple laminated stainless steel. Helle's manufacturer information confirms that the 14C28N version was a separate 10-year collaboration limited edition with a different steel.
The Temagami combines a practical bushcraft construction with the traditional materials and craftsmanship associated with Helle knives. Its drop point blade, semi-full tang and carefully shaped curly birch handle make it suited to carving, camp tasks and general wilderness use, while the genuine leather pouch sheath provides secure, straightforward carry.
