The MORAKNIV Companion Spark Black is a versatile fixed-blade outdoor knife designed for camping, hiking, bushcraft and general outdoor activities. The 104 mm blade is made from Swedish 12C27 stainless steel, heat-treated to 56.5 HRC for dependable cutting performance and edge retention. Its 2.5 mm thickness and Scandi grind make it suitable for slicing, carving and everyday campsite tasks. The specially ground blade spine works with the integrated ferro rod to produce sparks for starting a fire with suitable tinder.
The ergonomic black handle features a soft TPE rubber grip and a substantial finger guard to support secure handling. Reflective paracord helps make the fire starter easier to locate in low light, while the black polymer sheath includes a practical belt clip for attaching the knife to a belt or suitable backpack. The sheath accommodates both left- and right-handed users.
