Freighter Carrying System by TATONKA
The TATONKA Freighter, also known as the Lastenkraxe, is a heavy-duty load-carrying frame designed for transporting bulky, awkward or heavy equipment over outdoor terrain. Its combination of a welded aluminium frame and V2 carrying system provides a stable platform for loads that are difficult to accommodate in a conventional backpack, making it suitable for expeditions, hunting and demanding outdoor activities.
The reinforced frame features four cross braces for stability and a 25 cm-deep loading platform to support bulky equipment. The main frame tubes measure 24 mm in diameter, while the cross-frame tubes measure 20 mm. The frame is rated to carry loads of up to 50 kg.
The V2 carrying system includes padded shoulder straps and a reinforced hip belt to help distribute the load. An adjustable chest strap supports a secure fit, while the redirected hip-belt adjustment allows convenient tightening. Integrated feet help keep the carrier upright when placed on the ground, and the padded handle makes it easier to lift and manoeuvre.
