Turkish ALICE Pack in M2008 Camouflage - MILITARY SURPLUS
This Alice military backpack, from the Turkish Army, has five large exterior pockets? Five! Of those three have a secure canvas closure and the two side ones use a drawstring. Under the main lid, you'll find a drawstring closure to keep your contents secure. Adjustable padded shoulder straps will help you get a comfortable fit. This pack does not come with a frame.
Main body: 51cm x 30cm x 20cm;
Side pouches: 28cm x 7.5cm x 7.5cm;
Back pouches: 21.5cm x 12.5cm x 7.5cm.
Circa 2008, Turkey introduced a brand new camouflage pattern using an arid/desert colorway for issue to some of its personnel, often called nano or M2008. This became the standard combat pattern of the Turkish Armed Forces, although some branches and non-combat units continued to use older designs. The pattern incorporates olive green & reddish brown horizontal masses on a khaki background, and was developed by TÜBİTAK (Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu) the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. Uniforms and fabric were designed by noted fashion stylist Arzu Kaprol. This camouflage pattern was worn by all personnel, including non-combatants, until approximately 2019. A waterproof version has been used for ponchos and shelter halves. The pattern would also be adopted by the armed forces of Azerbaijan.
